Founded in 1942, Trinity Episcopal Church is currently a small, active, family-size congregation, visibly located on Main Street in Flushing, MI next to the Fire Station and City offices.
Our membership draws from the surrounding area, welcoming all to a charming, well kept facility. The parish is actively involved in outreach in the wider community, including needs of inner-city families and youth, the Diocese and beyond. Considerable effort is being done to enhance education, youth programs and music ministry.
Steeped in Episcopal tradition, we recognize the importance of change in order to grow both spiritually and numerically.
How Are We Unique?
We are unique as the Episcopal presence in Flushing and the surrounding area.This uniqueness includes our worship, our openness to diverse backgrounds and traditions, our “Via Media” which embraces both our Catholic and Protestant roots, respects different ways of fulfilling our core beliefs and recognizes that we are all at different stages in our walk with Christ.
How Do We Do This? We prepare ourselves through study and worship by encouraging and supporting each other in our walk by making our church physically and emotionally accessible to all and by creating a warm environment of good fellowship. We go forth to serve Christ among those of us at Trinity and among our neighbors in the larger community and in the world, using the gifts God has given us for the betterment of his world.
